I just started doodling, then it became something similar to a face and ended up as this. A dark mage. Not much magic in the picture, but use your imagination;)
Who knows, I may make a whole figure picture of her.

Painted in photoshop from scratch, no reference used.
Off and on over two days.

Oooh, I really like it. I'm a sucker for red eyes, but other than that, I really love the dark coloring. I think the shadows and general darkishness add all that mystery and magic that you wanted to be there, but only hinted at. If that makes sense. Awesome job at realism. The nose rocks, and noses are hard.

I really like this picture; I think it has something to do with her expression and the colours you've chosen.
